Jupiters Gold Coast to Receive $850 Million Upgrade

Jupiters Gold Coast Casino will soon be home to a luxury hotel tower that will aim to revamp the property and attract new visitors from around the world. The project will cost $850 million, and it will take two years to build.

While Jupiters is still a major gambling destination in Australia, the venue is aging. It is not as attractive as it once was, and the younger generation of gamblers are opting to visit newer, more modern venues. So, the upgrade will make Jupiters more competitive with other casinos across the country. As such, the project has attracted plenty of attention from investors like Chow Tai Fook and Far East Consortium who have helped to back the upgrade of Jupiters Gold Coast.

This brings Jupiters’ goals in line with casino operators like Crown Resorts, who aim to attract high roller players from around the world. With a luxury accommodation offering, Jupiters will become a more attractive venue for tourists who are visiting from abroad.

The project will also benefit the economy by creating many new jobs. During the construction phase, there will be 1000 new jobs with 500 people working at any one time. When the property is open to the public, 200 permanent positions will be available.

This is an exciting time for the land-based gambling market in Australia. We are seeing more and more high-class gambling venues popping up across the country, as more and more wealthy visitors are making Australia their go-to destination for gambling. Jupiters Gold Coast will add yet another great option for visitors, as there will be over 1400 luxury hotel rooms available on the property once the upgrade project has been completed.
