Within the past few weeks, we have seen some interesting moves from online casino operators Mr Green and Leo Vegas. Both companies previously specialised in the operation of online slots and table games – but they have now ventured into the world of sportsbetting.
The first operator to make the move was LeoVegas, which launched its sportsbetting brand towards the end of May. Since LeoVegas is a mobile-first online casino, it is only natural that its online sportsbook would follow suit. The new LeoVegas online sportsbook offers players the chance to wager on their favourite sport while on the go with quick speeds and an efficient online gaming platform.
“Today we bet in real time as the match or the race unfolds and that’s why mobile betting is becoming ever so dominant,” says LeoVegas CEO Johan Styren. “Thanks to our mobile-first approach we have managed to build a native mobile platform that is extremely fast and easy in terms of navigation and speed”.
Mr Green announced its plans for a sportsbetting service in February 2016, and has just launched its sportsbook last week. Currently, the service is only available by invitation. Existing players can sign up to receive an invitation that will provide them with 10 free euros and the chance to bet on sports at Mr Green before anyone else.
The new sportsbook from Mr Green is powered by Kambi Group. The developer will integrate its sportsbetting software directly into Mr Green’s online gaming platform for a seamless online gaming experience.
““This is a natural expansion of our offering since a large number of our current casino customers also play some form of sports betting,” says Mr Green Chief Executive Per Norman.
If you’re registered with either of these online casinos, be sure to try out their sportsbooks. You can login using your existing online casino account and place bets from your casino wallet!
